NYAWARA is composed of two linear volumes arranged along a parallel plane and connected by a central entrance foyer, establishing a clear separation between the public and private functions of the home.

The left wing accommodates the communal and service spaces, including a double-height lounge, dining area opening onto a rear courtyard, kitchen, pantry, and laundry facilities. Expansive glazing enhances natural light and strengthens the connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding landscape.

The Approach

The right wing contains three ensuite bedrooms linked by a circulation corridor with integrated storage. A prominent corner window feature within one of the bedrooms creates an immersive indoor-outdoor experience, framing views of the garden while softening the boundary between interior and exterior space.

The architectural expression is defined by clean horizontal roof planes, recessed openings, and cantilevered framing elements that wrap portions of the façade to provide shading and visual depth. A restrained material palette, concealed roofing, and carefully selected tones reinforce the home’s refined contemporary character
